Each session begins with a quick review of the previous class. Next, the teacher will engage the child in a fun and interesting exercise with relatively advanced programming. In our experience, students love creating and programming from day one. The goal is to give them independence in working with programs and to give them the experience of seeing exciting results from the very beginning. Our teachers are expert at drawing students into active learning. As a student progresses, the topics become more advanced and focused on developing students skills.

How many hours per week should I learn?

Minimum 1 hour per week the session can be vary depends on students requirement.

What can I learn from Akshara?

We provide Malayalam language class, Maths, Science, Music and Arts.

Why teach malayalam language to children?

Malayalam helps the children to share their emotions, thoughts etc.. with grandparents and relatives reside in kerala. Learning malayalam is knowing Kerala. Moreover it builds a beautiful connection with the children homeland. Learning malayalam is not merely for communication purpose. It helps them to preserve love for their homeland in their heart..

What is a proper age to start learning ?

Our malayalam classes start at the age of 5.

Can i accelerate learning by taking more classes?

You are welcome to accelerate your learning through fast track classes or holiday boot camps.

Can perents accompany their child in class?

We leave this to you, but we recommend parents to accompany child for atleast few days.

When are classes sheduled?

Classes are scheduled according to your convenience and instructor availability. Once decided, the schedule is mostly fixed from week to week.

Can I change instuctors ?

Yes... Just let us know.

Can I get reminders about my class?

Yes, you will get an automatic reminder for each session.

How can I reschedule?

What can students do outside of class?

Students will be assigned homework. They are encouraged to work on it, but we understand that this may not be always possible. It is useful to try things out in between classes, even if just for a few minutes every other day so that you come prepared for the next lesson. This way you save time and unnecessary repetition.

How will progress be assessed?

Students will receive emails after every class about material that was covered. At the end of every month, the students will receive a report based on their performance.

How do I keep track of what I have learned?

Our team will send emails summarizing where the student is.

How do I cancel my monthly plan?

You can cancel anytime without additional charge and a prorated refund will be issued for incomplete classes.

What happens if the instructor cancels?

This is rare, but if it happens, you can either re-schedule the class or make an appointment with another instructor (if available).

Do you accept cash or checks?

No. We accept only major credit or debit cards.

When and how frequently will I be charged?

You will be charged for the month on the day you subscribe. You will be charged that same day every month for as long as you are in the program.
